I was asked to find the percent difference of two values (.381 and .119). To solve, I used the equation:
$amount$ $of$ $increase$ $or$ $decrease$/ $original$ $amount$
Where my answer is 220%, which is correct.
Next, I was asked to find the percent difference if I treat the two numbers as 'equivalent'. Since They are equivalent and have no increase or decrease, I assumed the answer is $0$%. However, that is not correct. If any of you can help me out on this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
Below is a screenshot of the problem if what I am asking does not make sense. Thanks again!
