The Whole of the Law on metalliyhtye Anaal Nathrakhin yhdeksäs studioalbumi, joka julkaistiin 28. lokakuuta 2016 levymerkillä Metal Blade Records.[1] Albumi on tyyliltään ja sanoituksiltaan poikkeuksellisen vihainen ja aggressiivinen kokonaisuus, jolta välittyy selkeästi kuolema, pahuus ja maailmanloppu.[3][4]


Elokuussa 2016 albumilta julkaistiin single ”Depravity Favours the Bold”.[2]



Vastaanotto |


Albumi sai erinomaisen vastaanoton. Kaaoszinen Otto Vainionpää antoi albumille arvosanan 9/10, ja sanoi sen kestävän kuuntelua ja lunastaneen edellisen albumin täyttämättömät odotukset.[5] Niin ikään Metal Injectionin arvostelija antoi albumille arvosanan 9/11. Hän sanoi albumin olevan silkkaa raivokasta paahtamista, ja kehui sitä yhdeksi yhtyeen parhaaksi julkaisuksi.[6]Imperiumin Henry Lunabba antoi albumille kahdeksan tähteä kymmenestä, ja sanoi albumin olevan kaikessa karuudessaan kaunis teos, joka jättää kuuntelijalle hyvän mielen.[4]
